Only Moderators and Admins can have Avatars here on NationStates.

By the way, you've got the 'homepage' link that's accessible from your name here set up incorrectly: The url that it provides just goes to the NS frontpage, what you should say for a direct link to the nation is just http://www.nationstates.net/schwullunde...

That seems to be an automated thing when you create a nationstates account your homepage is automatically set to the account name, so since the forums decided to put [ns] infront of the name it assumes the nation has it too. [/end useless info] :)

The Yi Ta is correct. The automatically-created link was set up before the admins shortened the nation URL. Both www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=display_nation/nation=schwullunde (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=display_nation/nation=schwullunde) and http://www.nationstates.net/schwullunde will take you to exactly the same place, but the automatically-appended [NS] breaks the link.
