Stereotyping is wrong!

First off, I'm 17 years old, and go to public schools. I see (well, during the school year, at least) 2k+ of my peers. I socialize with a lot of different social groups, and meet a lot of different people. Yet, in all my travels, I am yet to find someone who talks like the teenagers on NationStates. Same with the rappers. I've heard a lot of people speak in a lot of ways, but only when they're stoned off their asses do I hear speaking like that.

So please, stop with the stereotyping and show the gamut of people, especially teenagers. We get enough of a bad reputation for being what we are, we don't need any more.

What on earth are you talking about? Where in the game are you taking your comments from?

The only thing I can possibly think of would be some of the issue responses.

Actually, part of what makes satire more biting is the use of stereotypes. While they certainly aren't acceptable for everyday use, they're wonderful fodder for satire. You'll note that every group is stereotyped. The computer gamers all speak in 1337 and pepper their dialog with memes. Military officials are all cigar-chomping gits with far too much testosterone. Environmentalists are all filthy hippies. Religious people (of every faith) are all fundamentalist whack-jobs (or deranged cultists).

It's all part of making things more extreme to highlight the inherent absurdity of politics. Having nothing but insane options being supported by sane people would be bizarre, and having sane options supported by sane people would be boring.
