I keep trying to make a flag but it always says my flag is too big, over 10KB. I always make it the right size but no matter what I do its always at least 20KB. I once did a black background and it was that size. Is my paint too advanced or something that makes the drawings too large? Please help.

Sure you are saving it as .jpg, not .bmp?
However, Paint is a mess and I wouldn't surprised if it had a completely inefficient compression for jpg pictures.
If you have no real image editors that you can use to fine-tune the quality of the image (the lower, the smaller) I suggest just shrinking it...

As Ermarian said, you should get some image editors, MSPaint isn't *that* good for saving pictures..
If you ain't got any, you can show me your pic and I'll try to do it for you... or better yet, I knew some websites that specialise into saving pictures with different extensions, or compression methods, or size.. right now, I don't remember any
