i have tryed posting this in past areas and have bee told that it is the wrong area, so if after this you think that too, plz just calmly tell me the correct forum (link) or be quiet. i am very annoyed rite 'bout now.

Any way...

i am an eager participator in the Nation States game. i love it and i enjoy playing with all you other gamers! but i am peeved that they allow us to make our own flags, but only files 10kb or smaller. i do not like this because i am a photoshop maniac, but i can only find the save option of 14kb. if ne one feels the same plea comment on this forum, or if u know how to save a picture off of photoshop to 10kb or less please tell me! thank you.

Try flattening your files (on the layers palette, under the drop-down menu) before you save 'em, and try File > Save for Web. Simple flat colour flags are smaller as .gifs, and shiny gradients will be smaller as .jpgs. If that doesn't work, try reducing the size (in pixels) in Image > Adjust > Image Size before you save it.

I know your pain, but I have never had problems fitting a nice 300x200 flag into a 9k limit. I dont know if it is even still around but somewhere is a NS Flag Faq written by some guy named Loop, it is pretty useful.
