Johnny B Goode

The search engine won't accept it. This helps me respond to people who've quoted me, so someone please help.

Ifreann, please don't spam my thread. I'm serious. If you really don't know, it's in the gray sidebar below the name of this thread.

Nah, when it doesn't work, it doesn't work. Probably because of the 3 words, one of which is only a "B".

I can't search for "Whereyouthinkyougoing" either, I'm guessing because it's too long for one word.

Anyway, just go search for "Goode" and you're set. :)

Thanks. :fluffle: It just used to work. I wonder if one of the friendly neighborhood mods would know.

The search function here on jolt.

...has a function for searching for posts made and threads started by a user.

Searching for posts by Johnny B Goode (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/search.php?searchid=755872)

The jolt search engine is a bit too non-functional, I don't use it.

But either "Goode" or "Johnny" should do the trick, because the former is never and the latter hardly ever mentioned in posts here outside of your name.

He's talking about an ego search, I believe :)

Buh? You're confusing me. Yes, it's maybe not a search engine, but that's why I explained what he did mean. Don't nitpick, Iffy! ;P

the search thing's been jazzy for a while. if it's not working i change the search criteria from all posts ever to all posts in the last two days and it usually overrides the retardedness.

Jolt's search function isn't the only thing that could be reffered to as a search engine, it was a legitimate question.

I guess so. The "Search posts made by [user]" function works fine. The ordinary search function is on the fritz (no pun intended) as it always is.

I hate the three minute waiting period! (Still no pun intended!)

God, misunderstandings all over the place!

1) I knew that JBG was trying to do an ego search. It's kinda clear when you read the OP, you know... ;p *pokes Ifreann*

2) In the post you quoted I was merely remarking that I hadn't realized that Ifreann's problem was in not thinking of ego searches, which somehow made him strangely innocent. *pokes Gravlen*

3) I'm so totally not seeing any puns there. *pokes self*
