My nation was recently resurrected. I formed a new region and joined the UN. Now I have 9 endorsments, even though I'm the only one in my region. Better still, none of my endorsees exist anymore. Wassup wit dat?

Endorsements are not wiped out by your nation ceasing to exist, nor are they checked when you are restored (though your UN membership is stripped on restoration). It would appear that you just rejoined the UN, which causes your old endos to display. Your endorsements will auto-adjust when your new region goes through update ... just like it was designed to do.
