After a few months of having to manually login to the Jolt forums, and doing some account testing on NS and on the forums, I've noticed something, and this right now only applies to the Firefox browser.

When I try and access the Jolt forums while logged into my NS account, I have to re-enter my name and password on the forums. However, if I go to the NS homepage, without logging in, and I click on any one of the recent thread posts, I am taken to the forums and I don't have to login.

This happened on three of my accounts, and I could repeat it easily by emptying my cache and logging in.

I'm only posting this because I saw threads about this topic a while ago, and I didn't want to post my own troubles.

Conclusion: if I don't login to my nation, Jolt remembers my username and password...

Essentially, what I think you're experiencing in the disconnect between Jolt and NS. If you aren't logged in and you click on the Jolt link, then that's just like going directly to Jolt, where it keeps the cookie for your login. If you log into NS and then click the link, it tries to send your details, but pretty much fails completely, thereby resulting in you being not logged in.

Pretty much. It's annoying if nothing else.

I had tried deleting my authenticated sessions, cookies and cache and I still got the same result.

I only posted this because I used to have no such disconnection between the forums and NS in the past.
