Issues Not Updating

This went down Friday night some time when I voted on an issue for my country (NOT UN Proposal). It is now early Sunday afternoon. All other issues have been passed in to law within a 24 hour period. I'm curious as to why this is not updating as quickly. Last I checked, I did not have the "On Vacation" setting checked, so things should be rolling through just fine. Right?

Try changing regions, that usually fixes that problem.

Your issues are updating fine. You just got a repeat of one you already received, so it looks like it didn't process.

Wasn't a repeat issue that came up. This was something about taxes, so I know it's not a repeat.
Could it be that, just like in real life, bills are not passed over the weekend? Meaning that my government won't legislate on something until the next work day?

If you're set for one (or two) per weekday then if I remember correctly your issues won't go through on the weekends.
