There have been over one million nations created..I don't think Salusa has run a census lately, but I'd wager that we're well over two million now.

No. There has never been a nation called "[violet]", as special characters are not allowed in nation names. As for the rest, nation birthdays weren't recorded until much later in the game's history. It's safe to say that Maxtopia existed before the game actually went live, but whether it was first, second, or third I could not say.
