It's not possible at this time. I guess there's a problem on one side or the other with releasing old nation names. I know a few who have been waiting patiently for this to happen, myself included.

The problem is that you have two accounts - a nation account, and a forum account. We need the ability to kill both of them to recycle nation names, and we don't have those rights on Jolt. Creation, yeah, but not deletion.
It's going to take an admin, or admins, working in concert with Jolt admins, to make this happen ... if it's even possible. Given our respective time zones (Salusa and Pythagosaurus are GMT -8, [violet] is GMT +11, and Jolt guys are GMT +0), it's hard to arrange a conference call to iron out the details. Even with that, it's possible Jolt already said "no".
Don't hold your breath.
