Goober's host limits the amount of access to the bandwidth he pays for. He's created a popular site (and one entirely owned by a third party, not NationStates), so sometimes he exceeds his bandwidth. Either that, or servage.net has a really crappy mysql setup.

It's been a known problem since about 3 months after NSwiki was set up, and Goobergunch is aware of it. Beyond that, there's not much we can tell you, and nothing at all that we can do about it.

Well, I too know about the problem, but maybe knowing it's time frame would be helpful...

How long does it usually last? The end of the month? A week?
Why does it happen?
If bandwidth is what's causing it, than why can we access some pages?
Why does it show the long error message instead of a page saying, sorry, but this isn't working?

Edit: why does the OP person have 0 as a post count?

I suspect that in a couple years when he is finished with school, that the NSWiki server / bandwidth issue may be better handled. Right now Goober is extremely busy with college. :)

Still though, Elstree has 0 posts!

Anyways, can somebody answer some of my questions?

Edit: Actually, I think I've heard of this bug. Let me see if I can go find it.
Edit: Sorry, it was actually N/A Post Count (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=456734).

I on the other hand, do remember hearing about this one, and if I recall correctly, Fris (I think) said it was related to the new spam filter Jolt added to the forums (the one where the mods have to manually approve some people's posts).

Really? Hmm...good thing I wasn't saying it did then /sarcasm

I was commenting on Elstree's post count of 0 and Flibbleites's comment that it was a known Jolt issue.
