I think nations which havn't been revived for over a year should be deleted completely, so that their names can be used. I just tried to make a new nation and the first five names I tried were "reserved for a former nation".

This is on the list of "things we'd like to do" (with 18 months limit rather than a year), but there are technical issues preventing us from implementing it at this time. Sorry.

Heh, this policy change was announced over a year and a half ago (don't remember exactly when, but I recall Myrth being involved in the initial tests). Has there been any major progress in the technical issues involved, or is it just a case of Jolt being stupid?
