Our region, 0000 United Democratic Nations, is down to three members. We have a password that we'd like to get rid of, but the former delegate (we don't have one now) can't remember what it is. We're trying to get others to join but they can't get in. Please, how do we get rid of the password? Thanks.

Several options, none of them involving mods:

Two of you could join the UN, electing one of you as Delegate. Delegate removes password. Resigns or remains in UN, up to you.

All of you leave the region. One of you refounds when the region is deleted at the next update. As a Founded region, you're much safer than as an open region with or without a Delegate.

Mondoth's suggestion won't work unless you have a Delegate, which would solve your problem other ways. It's also not accurate, as the password is visible only to residents, not visitors.

As for getting a mod to remove the password ... ain't gonna happen. It's your region. You have to deal with it.

Thanks for the immediate response. Becoming a UN member is difficult - my other nation has that status. I can see how a swap of UN status could take place to solve the problem, but that seems complicated. Our dismal failure of a region had this problem once before and a moderator sorted it out. From what I understand, that's a vain hope. I'll discuss the options with the former delegate. (I wish she could remember the password!) Thanks again for your help.

Refinding the nation is a lot easier than. Just have everybody leave, and than make a new one at next update. Just be careful as other's might make it before you....
