World Factbook Entry help

Does anyone know what the word/character limit for the World Factbook Entry of a Region is? I tried searching the forums and FAQs etc. but I couldn't find an answer, sorry if I missed it.

There is no word limit, that I know of. I'd have thought that something like that would be displayed somewhere. Still, it's a good question.

I seem to recall 550 characters. Or maybe 583. Somewhere in there.

All I know is that once before i typed a little too much and it gave me the big red letters saying that it was too long. I didn't really count though.

I just tested it in one of my regions, and it came out to 479 characters. If we count line breaks as characters, maybe 500.

I'm pretty sure it's 550. It counts spaces and everything.

Jovian Empire just tried to test it, and IF I counted right it got 541 characters before it complained about the size.
