24 hours and no UN verification email

I cannot emphasize enough the fact that my email provider does not block any email. In fact, I've already (obviously) gotten a verification email for the forum. Can this be fixed or do I have to apply yet again and wait another day, and watch that email never get sent as well?
In all fairness, you never know if your e-mail provider blocks e-mails until it happens. Is there any reason why you feel certain about this?

I've been informed, to my chagrin, that email that scores high enough will be silently dropped. But whitelisting should fix that, and in any case unless the UN email promises to enlarge my penis, comes from a server in China after going through a series of open servers, and claims to be from my sister who can't remember my name, it's not going to score that high.
Well as long as there's a block feature the possibility of a glitch is there, just set up another e-mail and switch your nation's e-mail to that one. The telegram you get says you can do that. You have to re-apply(I think), but it should work. Yahoo can receive them.

As long as the email is sent from nationstates.net, it will not be blocked.
Yes but something obviously went wrong, so you'll have to try something else.

Taking more than one day isn't unheard of.
Also, some ISPs (coughcoughAOLcough) will block email from NationStates before it even gets to you, making a whitelist useless.

There is nothing else. My ISP is Verizon, which does block everyone (and then goes huh? what? when you tell them not to).

Why is why I pay for a provider that (along with hosting my website) doesn't block indiscrimantly. It filters the email and "scores" it, then passes the email along with the score to me. It only drops it if it scores very high. This is the only legit email that hasn't gone through (if it was sent at all), and some spam still sneaks in. (And then thunderbird junks it.) Whitelisted domains aren't filtered at all.
Unless the UN email doesn't come from nationstates.net and therefore won't be on the whitelist, it should arrive this time.
