Will I be deleted?

I think this is in the wrong place, but this is the best place I could find.

The FAQ didn't really fully answer this question for me:

I play NationStates often (daily basis). My siblings also play - this is all well and good so far. They haven't joined the UN yet, while I am already in it.

We're on a shared computer and a shared network. I play NS the most by a long shot. Long story short, if they join the UN, will all of us be deleted?

I'm pretty sure you all would be ejected from the UN at the very least, or deleted (if you kept rejoining, I suppose). The general rule is one UN nation per computer, at least according to precedent.

And for future reference, questions like this of legality belong in the Moderation forum.

Correct. One UN nation is allowed per computer; more than one will get all involved nations ejected from the UN.

Follow up question:

My home network has 4 computers on it, but we share one external IP address. Are we limited to one nation across all 4, or can you distinguish inside this?

IP addresses are not the be-all and end-all of our systems ... thank goodness. As long as you stay on your computer and your roommates stay on theirs, we can tell the difference.
