The admins will know about a recurring problem because it'll mean something's wrong with the server, which they will know about. You just have to give them time to fix it.

How long will it take to fix the problem

You ask that as if I'd know. I don't. Though the last time this happened the game was up again by the end of the day.

Admins have been notified. It'll be fixed when they wake up, check their e-mail, and fix it.

Yeah, that happened to me to. You can view your nation as if you were a guest, but the game still logs you as having signed in. Also, none for the UN listings seem to be working, as well as the search feilds. You can however navigate around via the hyperlinks such as an endo list, or the link to your current region.

"Quaon is ranked 1st in the region and first in the world for connect failures."

That's pretty funny.

I just made this nation like, 2 hours ago or something like that. Does that mean that once the problem is fixed my nation might be deleted?

Not sure. I am guessing not, and hoping to hell that this isn't like on of the previous srever crashes. But once the problem is resolved, your nation may be deleted. :(

If the server remains down for the next few hours, how will this impact the UN Resolution at vote?

Until we know what the problem is, it's pointless to speculate on what will happen when it's fixed.

I can tell you this: unlike the "0 of 0" tech problems in the past, where nation files were actually damaged by the game's failures; it appears that all nations are still intact and fully functional. There are still functional areas in the game, and regions and nations seem to be working fine.

The resolution at vote is fine. The "fors" have a substantial lead that is unlikely to be affected by several hours of outage.

On the other hand, your proposal that was just a few votes short of quorum got screwed by the timing. The game clock continued to run whilst the game features were unavailable, and it got swept by the update. Sorry, dude - nothing we could have done about that.

I was just curious about what would have happened had the scheduled update time occur while the server was down and a resolution was on the floor.

I think my proposal (which finished 16-approvals short) actually timed out via the natural / designed process. As it happened I was watching for the update to kill all the proposals scheduled to go and resubmitted it (from the start) within minutes. Fortunately the proposal took, and Delegates I had telegrammed before were still able to find it. As of a few minutes ago it already had 36 endorsements, about 1/2 of which weren't in the 106 from last night. I'm counting myself *lucky* this time. ;)

Had I been screwed, it happens. When we deal with computers about all we can do is shake our heads, waves our fists, and resume to whatever else entertains us.
