Happiest citizens formula hopelessly flawed?

Polygamist Geeks

Just noticed that all the nations with the highest ranking of citizen happiness have Tax rates at 100%

How can citizens be happy when they aren't free to spend their own money?

just seems like either the formula is flawed, or the pollsters are seriously dishonest, in either their questioning or their reporting...

IC: OMG! It's a communist conspiracy by the United Nations!!! :sniper:

OOC: I think it might be just coincidence, or that nations with higher tax rates tend to give their citizens more stuff to make them happy. However, I don't really know, as I'm a mere mortal player. ;)

The Most Glorious Hack is ranked 1st in the region and 1,455th in the world for Happiest Citizens.Income tax is unheard of.I may not be first in the world, but I'd say 1455 out of almost 103k is pretty darn good.

Well it just seems to me that giving all your money to the government only to have them give it back to you wouldn't work out too well...

We might surmise that a tax of 100% would make it the same as if currency didn't exist. So it depends on how you look at it. And I'm surprized that citizens of an anarchy could be so happy to live in such chaos, but hey, live and learn.

Because the government takes their money and spends it on giving them snuggles and kittens and rainbows. Obviously.

lol. You saw that to?

Yah, I quess those who only tax 20% don't really get up there.l I'd like to be able to set my income tax rate, as I will be Supreme Dictator of my Nation. We should be able to choose it so that we have more control.

P.S. Wouldn't it be cool if our government had an ecomomy that we were stuck with to use to make the big changes, and pay for law makers?
