Delegate Powers For Lazarus?

Ever since the creation of the new rules I have wondered to myself, why doesn’t Lazarus have the power to eject or to ban? I really haven’t read too much about exactly why Lazarus doesn't possess the ability to eject nations in the first place but I have always been told that the mods believed that there would be too much abuse. Well, if that is in fact the case, with the instatement of the new rules shouldn't this now be a non-issue?
Also, as a side note, I tried to register on these forums with my Killer Kitty nation on Nationstates but for some reason it never sent me out an e-mail, so there went that quant concept of duality :P
Nations can't be banned from Lazarus because it would create a problem if the nation died and was rezzed. (Nation is banned from Lazarus, so where does it go?) I'm not sure if/why they can't be simply ejected now.

I'm not even 100% sure if a nation stays on the ban list when it CTE.
However, your right, I really can't see why a so-called Warzone style ejection can't be achieved.

Indeed, why not a temporary ban? I don't think that'd hurt..

Not going to happen in the near term.
Nations cannot be banned from Lazarus because that causes problems if they need to be ressurected later.
Unfortunately, the setting that prevents ejections is the same as the one that prevents bans, so we cannot currently permit one without the other.
Sorry.

Is there a wish list you could slap that on to for the future? :P

Changes impacting a single player (in this case, the current delegate of Lazarus) don't often make our wishlist. You can put it on your wishlist if you'd like ... that's likely to have an identical effect.

Just a question.
Normally things on my wish list never happen, could be the fact I don't pester the Mods enough  :p

Ya know... if you want the ability to ban... you could found your own region...?

Well, this is quite true, but, and I really don't want to get into an argument about this or anything, this goes above just one player on some little power trip. Just like in the Pacific's, the delegate's ability to eject effects more than just his or her nation, it affects all the nations in their region.
Granting Lazarus ejection powers would not affect just one player but many. So in this respect, this is not my quest to own a nation that can ejects, it’s a request for a change in game protocol.

Not going to happen in the near term.
Let's just leave it at that.
