Why is this country bigger than mine?

Listen, mods or admin, whoever this concerns. Why does this nation, Anthyobia, have a bigger population than my Neo-Erusea if it is younger.

If you see my nation is a day older but either is a day behind, or Anthyobia's is a day ahead.

Population does not run simply on nation age. Many of the issues affect population growth; some speed it up, others slow it down. If the issues for these nations are being answered differently, that'd make a big difference.

Because your population growth each day is slightly random. So over time, you'll get a slight fluctuation.

If it makes you feel better, I have a pair of puppets that were made within an hour of each other. One's population is 7.51 billion, the other's is 7.492 billion; a good 18 million swing.
However, as nations grow, that gap narrows. Those two nations had a 50 million gap at one point.

Yeah. I've noticed that too Hack.
I have three puppets made within 5 minutes of eachother and their populations are slightly different. One is sitting at 1.836, the other is at 1.842, and the last one is at 1.845

WRONG! It's been said multiple times that issues have NO effect on population growth. I'm suprised that none of the mods who've posted here have corrected this.

There have been about a hundred and fifty issues added and a considerable amount of game mechanics work since the last time this was discussed. It's best not to assume you know with authority.
That said, I think you're correct, but as you noted none of the mods corrected it.

Only because I didn't notice. Flib's correct.

Actually there's 200 issues in the game but who's counting.;)
That happened to me too. Two of my puppets were created within a couple of days of each other, and the first puppet stayed slightly bigger for months, but they both hit the 500M mark on the same day. Since then, the second puppet passed the first, and has been ahead ever since.

Heh, in that case, apologies. I'm not quite sure where I got that idea from!

It's a common myth.

It's a common myth.
Especially since there are issues that look like they should affect your population growth.
Actually there's 200 issues in the game but who's counting.;)
Actually, I was counting. :p It's been a long time since I saw this myth come up in Moderation. There were many fewer issues back in ye olden times. ;)
