Missing Forum Accounts

Hey, not sure if this is the right place but I'll give it a shot anyway.

Two of my nations, 'Interstellar Planets' and 'The Hiigaran Council' no longer seem to have corresponding forum accounts at all. I know for a fact that I have used the latter in RPs on the forums before, and I believe I posted with the former once or twice.

This isn't just a 'you've been banned' problem or anything like that though... the forum accounts don't actually exist anymore, at all. I checked through the member list, performed searches... and they're not there. It's as though they never existed.

The nations themselves are still around and I keep them active, and both have e-mail addresses. As far as I know I haven't done anything to warrant their forum accounts being deleted out-right (or anything else for that matter), so I can only assume this is a technical problem... hence, posting here!

So do you guys have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

http://forums.jolt.co.uk/member.php?u=645334 and http://forums.jolt.co.uk/member.php?u=213420?

They're still there. Just not on the "member list" of Jolt. Who knows why, but Jolt doesn't actually provide a true member list under the member list button.

Well, that's good to know at least, thanks. I did wonder if NS accounts were not included on that list but as I saw some NS members on there during my search I assumed they were. Strange that.

However I still can't log in to them. It just gives me the 'invalid username/password' thing. As far as I am aware the passwords on those should be the same as the passwords on the actual nations, am I right? Well I can log into those with no trouble, and I haven't changed the passwords since they were created, as far as I know. I'm hesitant to muck around with Jolt's 'request new password' feature in case it scews up the link between the two.

Try putting [NS] before the nation's actual name.
If that still doesn't let you log on then try it with [NS:].
And if that doesn''t work then increase the number of colons.

(This works for some nations...)

I don't think that will work. Those prefixes are visible in the forum username because they are a part of it, and those two accounts don't have those. But, I'll give it a go later on just in case, thanks!

I've sent new validation emails to those two nations. Let's see if that resolves it.

Thanks Fris. I'll give you a shout when my e-mail starts working again. :D

I'm not having such a good day to day...

Hey there again. I'm afraid that didn't seem to work either. I can't explain it. I'm absolutely certain that I'm using the right password, because I can log in to the nations themselves... but it's acting as though they aren't the right passwords. Is it possible the forum account passwords have been changed independently of the nations, somehow? I'm afraid I don't understand just how closely linked they are.

Are you trying to use the Forums link from the game, or are you logging directly into Jolt? If you're trying one of those exclusively, try the other instead. To get to the Jolt logon screen, click Log Out in the upper right.

Thanks, I've tried both. The forums link takes me to the forums, but it doesn't log me in nor offer any explanation as to why. So I try to log into the forums manually, and get the 'incorrect username or password' alert.

I believe that:

The password to the forum is the same as the password of your nation when you created it. That's with me atleast. I have a different password in this Jolt Forum than the password of my nation since I had to change it.
