Hopefully in my quick skimming of all the stickies and the Known Problems page I didn't miss something addressing this, but I don't think I did, so here goes.

When I click the link for the forums from the NS page it takes me here, but it doesn't sign me in automatically still. Any ideas of what's wrong?

I don't know what's causing it, but I'm having the same problem.

As I am. It has to be a forum wide thing. Probably when the link first messed up the Admin fixed it as a quick fix and did not check to see it the auto log in was working. Now I can log in manually but this gets old fast. I also have a puppet that has the prefix [NS::] and I cant log him in manually. TYhis creates a problem As I have some good Ideas that I would like to do with him.

I have the same problem, I am able to manually log in this account, but my main account and my other puppet with [NS:] prefix will not log in at all.

I think everyone has that problem.

Just wait it out, i'm sure it'll be fixed soon enough.

Knowing NS as I do, I can say that waiting around for admin to fix things doesn't get much done.

And complaining about it doesn't get the job done quicker. Waiting for them to fix the problem does.

ehats wrong is jolt's obsession with having the "latest vwersion" of vbulletin, so they upgrade as soon as they only can, without even fixing the glitches casue by the las upgrade.

they upgrade as soon as they only can, without even fixing the glitches casue by the las upgrade.
The latest upgrade was put in place specifically to fix the problems from the last, horribly failed upgrade. To their credit, they fixed probably 90% of the prior problems and made the forums more reliable and easier to use. There are a number of behind-the-scenes enhancements that constitute major improvements as well. In summary, if you don't have a clue about what's going on, sometimes it's better to simply remain silent.

As for this particular problem, it's as likely to be on YOUR machine as on Jolts. Try logging out of Jolt manually, deleting all your Jolt cookies, and then coming back in.

Done that, no effect.

Thought Hack or GMC had already said it here but I guess not. Don't come to the forums from NS. Bookmark the main NS Forum, login through Jolt, and then keep them separate. That will keep you logged in on Jolt.

I find logging in through NS can sometimes log me into Jolt, but it destroys the automatic login. So keep one extra link. :p

I can still get to Jolt from the NS page without messing up my current Jolt login if I'm logged out of NS at the time. If I'm logged into NS, clicking "Forum" takes me to Jolt but logs me out, if I was logged in before.
