NS-Jolt link working again, random bans banished?

The Jolt upgrade (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/announcement.php?f=1224&a=101) of forums hardware and software appears to have resolved many (and hopefully all) of our issues with the forum link between NationStates and Jolt.

The mods have systematically cleaned out a pile of old Getting Help requests, as our tools are working again. If any of your puppet nations experienced the random ban, please try them again. If they still don't work, file a Getting Help request (http://www.nationstates.net/page=help) from the affected puppet, and we'll check it out.

Nations created between March 9 and April 11, 2006 may still be in a corrupted state, and we've run across several of those we can't fix at all.

Nations created between July 22 and August 25 may not have working forum accounts. It appears we can fix most or all of those.

Nations restored during either of those times may still show up as banned. We seem to be able to unban them properly now.

There is a long standing issue with certain nations (Knootoss, for example) having a postcount of "n/a" and being unable to post. This upgrade may or may not have resolved that issue. We're still investigating that one.

Nations with [NS] or [NS:] in front of their names are probably stuck with those. We may be able to do something about that later, but for now we're going to concentrate on getting everyone that wants to post the ability to do so.

Needless to say, if you were banned for rulebreaking, none of this applies to you. Such nations will stay banned per the original offense.
