I noticed some strange anomalies with foundings in the last few minutes. I'm used to a nation's name not appearing as a link and its pretitle not being listed until the player has finished setting it up, but this seems wrong:

# 8 minutes ago: Torwin departed this region for Roman Empire
# 12 minutes ago: Torwin was founded.

Also, founded in multiple feeders:

# 43 minutes ago: The Nomadic Peoples of Lyell was founded.
# 43 minutes ago: The Nomadic Peoples of Lyell was founded.

And again:

13 minutes ago: The Republic of Lundy24 was founded.
13 minutes ago: The Republic of Lundy24 was founded.

I've seen both of these before.

#1 happens when the forum link is flaking out. The 'founded' notice gets posted early in the new nation process, but it hyperlinks later in the process. Inbetween, the game tries to set up a forum account, which has been timing out lately. Thus, you get 'dead' new nations.

#2 happens when the player gets impatient and double- or triple-clicks. The nation is randomly assigned to the feeders but usually ends up in the last region, though the Regional Happenings logs show otherwise. I've never bothered to search the ~6000 nations in each feeder to see if both have him listed. Once he moves, it self-corrects, I believe.

#2 may also be a symptom of forum flakiness too. That may be why we're getting so many [NS:] and [NS:::] nations.

I'll point this out to the admins, who will doubtless find ample time to ignore this minor non-issue. They be busy as buzzy bees these days.
