How about people can create a username and then make their nations. This way you can have multiple ones and dont have to keep track of their names and such

No.

The forum is a supplement to the game, not vice-versa.

But if you make multiple usernames, you still need to track those names.;)

I think he means when you sign up to NationStates you create an account first, and then you can add nations to your account afterwards. That way you could keep track of all your nations in some kind of control panel or something rather than having to sign in to each one individually.

Which is a great idea, but I doubt NS would support such a system, and even if it would I doubt that they would be willing to go ahead with such a vast amount of programming. I would also imagine that it would create problems for these forums, though, considering the state they're in at the moment I can't imagine what else could go wrong. (/jinx)

I utilize the dossier to keep track of all my nations. That way they're always available with a click of a button.

Some of us like having the ability to log in under different names with our different nations, to make it clearer which of them is actually involved in the matter concerned.

Since it would involve an entirely new way of handling user accounts, nation accounts, forum accounts, and a massive recoding of the game, I'd say that it's a VERY FIRM "no".

The door is entirely closed on this. We're not going to do it, period.
