Is there any way to transfer regional control, or transfer founder status so that another nation can have regional control?

Foundership cannot be transfered from the founder nation. Only the founder and the duly elected Delegate (if permitted) can access RC. That's not going to change.

Ah, I think he could be talking about "re-founding" a region, I have not actually been directly involved in one so I have only the vaguest outline than it will make someone else the founder and needs all the natives approval.

How it happens I don't know, mods, yourselves, the Holy Spirit, who knows; I sure don't.

So if you [Fris] know a little more than me about it please inform the puzzled no[ob]- er, I mean new arrival.

If a region is empty when the NS update occurs, it will disappear, and can then be re-founded. I know of 3 ways to empty a region.

1. Get all the nations to voluntarily leave. That can be a problem if some are inactive, or just don't want to leave.

2. The UN delegate can boot them out. But that depends on his influence. He may not have enough influence to boot everyone, especially if he's new to the region.

3. The founder can boot everyone. I suppose if a founder wanted to quit the region and turn it over to a successor, he could do it that way.

Also, if the founder ceases to exist, then regional control will be granted to the Delegate (if he/she doesn't already have it).
