NationStates Jolt Archive

After attempting to resolve this issue using my main nation and receiving no responses from anyone, I've created this nation in hopes of getting help.

Katinooth got the fun Email Verification failed. I could not post in the technical forum at that time either. So in desparation I created a Katinooth user on the Jolt forums. That worked, which means that user wasn't created prior to that time. Now Katinooth can see the forums but has no permission to post. I ask that permission be given to Katinooth to post on the NS forums, please. Thank you.

I don't know what you did to try and resolve the issue, but it apparently didn't involve the NationStates Getting Help (http://www.nationstates.net/page=help) page. That's the normal venue for getting help. Katinooth has never made any such requests.

As to your broader problem, I'm afraid I've got bad news for you. A small number of nations created during March 2006 have corrupted forum links. Katinooth is one of them. We think the problem is on the Jolt side, as our forum account repair tools work for practically everyone else but fail on these few. Our admins have looked into the issue, and we've raised it with the Jolt admins as well. No one has come up with a solution.

As for the Jolt account you created, they can't post on NationStates. Our arrangement with Jolt is that only accounts created via the game engine may post in the NS forums. Sorry 'bout that, but there's naught we can do about it now.

My usual recommendation in such cases (a dozen or two thus far) has been to create a 'forum-posting puppet'. Since you've done that already, there isn't really anything else we can do for you at this point.
