NationStates Jolt Archive

Where are the Nationstates servers located? Since I started playing Nationstates, there has been issues with 150-200ms latency, and it taking about 10 seconds to load even the simplest pages.
Also, rarely, but in a few cases nationstates has refused to come up, though when it acts like this sometimes it will come up after letting it sit for about 3 or 4 minutes.
Nothing serious, just a little lag I was wondering about..
So back to the original Question.. which I think just I answered because I looked at the main website about the host being "Europe's Premier Gaming ISP".. so its in europe.. that explains it.. ok..I am dumb haha.... well that explains the lag, but has anyone else in the US(west coast) had issues with it?


This is the only website it has ever done it on, so its not a clientside issue :)

At times, loading this site can take a while, but that's usually because over 1000 other nations are logged in. The more nations logged in at once, the longer it takes the pages to load.

NS is hosted by Jolt, a British company. That implies that the servers are in Britain. Though judging by what happens around here, that could be completely wrong.

I'm in Australia, and haven't noticed serious lag since the move to Jolt. Other problems, but not lag.

I'm on the west coast of the US as well and the only times I notice any lag is during the updates.
