To all the Un-ers/Mods

This is the only account registered to 'nathmills@hotmail.co.uk'
I am unable to join the UN as it states that I already have an account registered. It makes me :headbang: If a mod were to email me and I were to email back 'SlliM nahtaN' would that be enough to prove that I own that email address? Also would it be enough for something to be done?

1) E-mail addresses are not the only method used to determine if you have another account.
2) Your complaint should be taken to technical, not here.
3) Using the "banging head against wall" smilie makes our heads throb more than yours, and therefore we're less willing to help you.

4) No. Bad things happen when you try to force someone into the U.N.

Oh? You've tried to force a nation in before? That's interesting. Don't suppose you'd care to tell me what happened when it was attempted?

BAD things.... ;)
Dr. Egon Spengler: There's something very important I forgot to tell you.
Dr. Peter Venkman: What?
Dr. Egon Spengler: Don't cross the streams.
Dr. Peter Venkman: Why?
Dr. Egon Spengler: It would be bad.
Dr. Peter Venkman: I'm fuzzy on the whole good/bad thing. What do you mean, "bad?"
Dr. Egon Spengler: Try to imagine all life as you know it stopping instantaneously and every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light.
Dr Ray Stantz: Total protonic reversal.
Dr. Peter Venkman: Right. That's bad. Okay. All right. Important safety tip. Thanks, Egon.

:p
Thanks for making me laugh, Kat. Night shifts do little to lift my spirits.
Now I just need Pythag to actually tell me what happened.

Joining the UN involves making changes in the nation, the endorsement list, the region, the UN voting list, and half a dozen other things, all in an orderly fashion. Trying to insert a nation into the UN without going through that orderly process is like trying to repack a factory-packed box of electronic equipment. It may look sorta like it's done, but it's never as neat or pretty, and you often find that you left out a piece.
Of course, there was that time a nation asploded and took out the entire region, but I'm sure Pyth wasn't referring to that.

No, it has not been done on the live server, and it will not be done. I've done it on my laptop (I figured it would be easier than setting up a mail server), and it was a mess.
