I'm new to NationStates and I find that despite the choices I make concerning each issue, I often come back to find other choices selected or the issue pending dismissal. Often I'll choose one option and return to find another selected, or dismiss it only to see "legislation pending" next to it. What's the deal?

Are you using a web accelerator? If you are turn it off and your problem should go away.
