This topic is trivial but I find population growth interesting to compare. My nation was founded 231 days ago. My friends nation was founded 227 days ago. [At 27 May 06] Yet our populations do not grow equally. At points my nation has had a much larger populatrion. Yet his nation currently has 6 million more than mine. [1.286 billion vs 1.28 billion]

Why don't they grow equally?

The growth rate (after an initial slow period) is randomly somewhere between 5 and 8 million each day. So over time, if your friend gets a few more 7's while you get a few more 5's, 6 million could easily build up
