How long does it take it for the UN to approve my membership?

This depends....
Firstly the application needs to be viewed against an arbitrary non-democratically set of binding rules to see if we can throw you out before you start.

Then we need to be sure that you are not actullay looking for any space in the UN office, as even the broom closets are full now.

An assessment of your ability to write proposals non-endingly on topics discussed to death over the last few years will have to made.

Of course if the wrong font or shade of pink paper has been used then you may need to re-submit.

Rest assured that the weight of the cobwebs which have gathered on your aplication will be used to prioritise your application.

Welcome to the UN..........

Apply again. And check your junk folder before the e-mail gets deleted.

er so the earlier problem where the system couldn't handle email while heavily loaded so emails were taking a lot longer to be sent out has been fixed as well as the problem whereby they weren't being sent at all ?

Unless you're with AOL. AOL considers NationStates mail 'spam'. If you're on AOL, don't plan on getting any mail from us (or about 70% of your other legitimate and solicited mail), as they make it incredibly difficult to ever get off the blacklist once any single user has tagged us 'spammers'.

']Just when you think AOL can't suck any more, they suck some more.
