I've been an off and on user of Nationstates, so I'm very familiar with the specs and everything, but the problem is, the single issue has been pending for the last week now. I am the Rogue Nation of Moriandoc, and I think I'm doing something wrong, causing the legislation to last this long. It maybe something as trivial as the verification email, which is new to me because I've never used my email in the past. Did I miss a step?

Try leaving your region and then moving back in. Sometimes things go wonky and the game thinks you're somewhere else and thus doesn't properly update your nation. Typically, that clears everything up.

YOUR NATION IS ON VACATION MODE!!! TURN IT OFF, AND YOUR PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED!

Just as a guess (a VERY well-informed guess), it's more likely that the official answer from a mod is correct than that the ALL CAPS response from a non-mod is correct.
