In a day or two I will be upgrading form dial-up to dsl and will be changing providers. Accordingly, I will have a new e-mail address -- which I don't know yet. I am having loads of fun being Magowadonia and don't want to have to invent a new country. What must I do in these circumstances?

Very little. If you entered a e-mail address before, you can just change it by logging into your nation and going to settings.
