Anyway, I was wondering what the policy for posting pictures as flags is. I have a pic I found on the net a while ago that would make a great flag. Do I need to find the site to get permission before using it?

Er, kinda depends.

If the image is copywritten, then it certainly would be nice if you got the owner's permission. If you're worrying about sucking their bandwidth, you won't be as flags are hosted locally.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, I don't remember the site, so I don't know if it was copyrighted or not...
