Government Type

Heya!

My nation of Isvaelis was intended to be 'Evil'. However, when I made my second nation, I realized something... the dropdown menus reset themselves if you get a password mismatch. I'm thinking Isvaelis defaulted to 'Sensible', though I'm not entirely sure.

I guess my question is this -

Does government type have a permanent, drastic impact on gameplay? Such as the way your nation is viewed, the type of issues you get, etc? Or by simply acting 'evil' can I force myself back to my dream? Thanks!

It doesn't affect your issues (I think?) but it decides what category your nation is put in and you can change it by answering issues.

That government selection only affects your starting stats. These are changed by issues, drastically so at first. Don't worry about it.
