Um, sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this question on, but how do you post maps etc.? I haven't been able to get my map to post for this PT thing... if anyone could explain, I would be very grateful...

You need to uploading it to a hosting service. Most people typically use Imageshack or Photobucket. Once an account has been made, you can upload, and they'll give you links to the image itself, which you simply include in your post thusly:
http://www.address.of.your.image.jpg
Thus, this:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v251/Tindalos/Random/dalek-kitties-big.jpg
Would give you this:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v251/Tindalos/Random/dalek-kitties-big.jpg
