Can't access jolt

When I restart my computer and come try to load the forums, it comes up with one of those "page cannot be displayed" error messages. In order to actually access the forum I have to run the ADSL set up to change my IP and then restart again.
I'm pretty certain this stems from when my old nation was deleted, but I was told that I would be allowed to use a new nation, so long as I didn't break any rules. Anything I can do, changing my LAN card for example?

Your on jolt right now.

Although i do suggest that you perhaps go into your IE settings and clear your Temporary Internet Files and your Cookies, it might be a corrupted file somewhere in either of those directories. If that doesn't help then someone else might be able to help you more with this problem.

Yes, but I had to change my IP and restart my PC to get on. I've already tried clearing cookies and temp files.

I'm getting the Firefox equivalent of this error a LOT in the last 20 hours or so. I had to set up a proxy to get on here, myself. Not sure how I'd change my IP with my current network setup and ISP, and not sure I'd want to bother. It could just be an error it has with your IP, someone else banned that used that IP or somesuch. IPs tend to be shared between broadband-type (cable, DSL) users across the ISP, I believe.

lol Well, had you changed IPs (to the one you can't access with) and used the banned account on that IP? The ban might have been lifted before the time you couldn't access. I was only ever a mod on various forums, not an admin, so I don't know, but I don't think it would be a ban problem if you could access, then you couldn't, on the same IP.
