I was just wondering, do the nations progress only by 1 million a day, or is there perhaps a point at which the rate doubles? For all of those extremely populous nations, please help a brother out.:confused:

The pace you grow goes up.
Seriously, 20% increase a day and you're concerned about whether your rate goes up or not?
Also, you should note that population growth is entirely separate from anything you can do. No issue, UN resolution, or name changes will change your population (though some mods have been known make threats about this).

I think after a week it goes up to 5-6 million a day.

I seem to recall that it's 1 million a day until you reach 10 million, then 2 million a day until you reach 20 or 30 million, then 3 million a day for a while, and so on... My oldest nations are currently on just under 1.5 billion people, after about eight-&-a-half months of existence, and seem to be growing at 7 million per day.

5-10 million: 1 million at a time
10-50 million: 2-5 million a time
>50million: 5-8 million a time.
it isn't a set amount i have this friend that joined 2 days after mine and a month and a half later he has 5million more than me I think it is how you run your nation.

This has got to be listed somewhere on the forum. We certainly get asked a lot for no apparent reason.
5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 23, 26, 29, 32, 36, 40, 45, 50, random increase in {5,6,7}.

Not sure about how it is nowadays, but at least back in times issues could affect your population growth. Accepting cloning and having a small nation could get your population boosted up like hell.
But don't worry, soon you'll only notice the growth when you hit another billion. Bwa ha ha, soon to be 7 billion! That means a shitload of soldiers.
