Recently I was having difficulty getting into the forums. I sent a help request to the mods and they replied within a day (24 hours) and let me know what to check on. They didn't nail the issue, but they gave me a starting point (it was my firewall, not my ISP, that had screwed up my DNS updates).
People tend to bitch and moan about the Mods, but having a been a Mod myself (albeit in another, unrelated forum) I know what a thankless job it is. Thanks guys (and gals?) for your reply and for reminding me of a basic issue to check (to me, ensuring proper DNS connections and IP addresses count as "basic" issues). Pat yourselves on the back and have a scotch and fig newton on me. :)
