I know we're probably not supposed to ask these questions on behalf of third parties, and I'm actually not sure if I'm posting this in the correct area, but my boyfriend (fransscodelamrte) has been having some problems posting. He's actually a new member and he keeps getting these two messages:
fransscodelamrte, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

And he says down at the bottom of the page under "Posting Rules" it says this:
you may not post new threads, you may not post replies, you may not post attachments, you may not edit you posts

Both of us were just wondering what, if anything, could be done about this. Again, sorry if it's in the wrong forum, I've never had this problem before.

There was a problem with the Jolt / NS forum link during much of March 2006, and many nations created or resurrected during March show up as banned.

Have him file a Getting Help request with the EXACT nation name, and we can fix those.

There seems to be no account with that name. Could you check the spelling? Not much we can do without the proper name.

I thought copied it exactly from his profile page (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/member.php?u=1012923) last night, but I could've misspelled it. I tried asking him about the email last night and he told me when he clicks the verify link it tells him it's already been verified.

There's a registered Jolt user with that name but no NationState with that name. Did he sign up on jolt without making a nation on NS? Because non-NS people can't post in the NS Forums, even though they can see them.

He signed up one night when I was over at his place, I was just showing him what exactly I spend my free time doing. I know at the time he signed up for NS, but I'm not sure if he got the email for that or anything.

Should I have him try to re-do the NS signup, or should he start over from scratch?

How long ago did he create the nation? And was the name of that nation fransscodelamrte? And it might be easier just to make a new nation and try with that one.

Alright, that seems a lot easier than anything else. I'll continue passing this all along....I appreciate all the help, I'm sure he does as well. You all rock my face off.
