Suggestion for Repeal Function

It has been brought to my attention by numerous UN members dissappointed with the current results of my proposal Repeal "Scientific Freedom" that, as most feel the proposal is failing due to lack of members reading past the title, the repeal function should have the ability to provide a different proposal name other than the automatic Repeal "Resolution Name". I am inclined to agree that this could be a simple yet effective way to help along the repeal function. Perhaps, when repealing a resolution, a member is given an option to the name of the proposal:

1) Repeal "Resolution Name"

or

2) Repeal Resolution Number

The second option seems like a logical and reasonable addition to the repeal function, and perhaps even further options can be suggested.

I agree. I think if people actually read Scientific Freedom they would realize the problems it has and would vote to repeal it, rather than assuming that repeal something named Scientific Freedom can't be a good thing. It seems this will be another good proposal lost due to the publics inability to actually read the resolution being repealed.

Is there any way the mods could fix this without extensively re-writing the script?

No. Since we don't have access to the code, we don't modify anything on that level. We can, however, bring it to the attention of the admins. It doesn't sound too complicated, but these things always require scrutiny. Even if we like the idea, don't look for a quick fix.
