ThirdGeek is giving me the wrong info for my nation.

Only name, flag, motto, Government Category, Major Industry, National Animal, National Currency, and Total Population match my NS page. Everything else is wrong.

The Imperial Nycarian Grand Navy of SeaQuest is a massive, environmentally stunning nation, renowned for its devotion to social welfare. Its compassionate, hard-working, cynical population of 1.047 billion are kept under strict control by the oppressive government, which measures its success by the nation's GDP and refers to individual citizens as "human resources."

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and Education. The average income tax rate is 100%. A substantial private sector is dominated by the Automobile Manufacturing industry.

Nudity is frowned upon, people caught mistreating SeaQuest's flag generally wind up in a great deal of pain, graffiti artists spend lengthy periods of time in jail, and refugees from other nations are flocking to SeaQuest's border. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. SeaQuest's national animal is the Bottlenose Dolphin, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the UEO Dollar.

SeaQuest is ranked 1st in the region and 3,948th in the world for Largest Welfare Programs (per capita).

NSEconomy is not and official part of NationStates. The guy who built NSEconomy I believe left some contact info on the NSEconomy site.

I think it also has a bit of a delay on updating, but I don't know

CH has obviously swapped around the freedom variables. It's an April Fool's prank. I'm sure your GDP will be fine tomorrow.

I only hope its an April's Fools prank. It was kind of disconcerting(sp?) going from a 3+ trillion defense budget to only a 28+ billion defense budget in one night.

Yeah, CH is evil like that. And he's in MY region! Woe!

Oh, about that, how are you supposed to change theses stats? Say I'd like my nation to invest more on defense, how I am suppose to make it pass from 10% of GDP to 20% ? How can I change government priority?

It's all in the issues. If one of the options in the issues is to increase the spending on the military, it will bump up your defence spend percentage. The issues are the only may to change your nation's priorities, I'm afraid.

Well, actually you can use UN membership to help produce stat changes in your favor by joining the UN when a resolution that is favorable to your interests comes up for vote. But the amount of a boost you can get from that is (while definitely an advantage especially over the long term) pretty minimal compared to the issues, so focusing on the issues is really the best way to go.

NationStates: Forcing politicians to focus on the issues since 2002.

The UN bolstering his military stats? When did that happen last?
