Recently, I've found nationstates is hellbent on opening new windows everywhere.

It's incredibly annoying.

Perhaps someone could add a feature to allow users to completely disable it? I find myself middle clicking all of the links so they only go into tabs, but even that's silly.

It's not us. You should scan for spyware.

Edit: Unless you mean links given in the forum, which is SOP for pretty much every forum that's ever existed.

Do you mean on the forums? I'm not aware of NationStates itself opening things in new windows (although I occasionally encounter frameset problems, which in some browsers could cause new windows to open).

The spelling check opens in a new window, I think. That's a good thing, I think. Anything else is on your end. Sometimes the game breaks out of its frames when you've gone too long without loading any new pages. Maybe that's what you're experiencing.
