Poor old ADD me and I'm sure plenty of others, have some problems remembering what exactly we said in TG, or if we remebered to send one we meant to. And what not.
So;

Would it be possible to add some way to view sent telegrams? like an short archive of the last five or so telegrams that we sent? if its a server space problem, perhaps some of the space can be shaved from the space used to store recieved telegrams.

Just an idea, one which I would aprreciate.

Me too. It's always annoying trying to remember what you wrote.

I agree, it's always annoying when you are unsure if you sent a TG or not.

Although, it's more annoying that it says you have TG when you've already read them. Should be like a mailbox, once you look at the TG, even if you don't delete them the description should not say you still have Telegrams.

It would be nice, but let's not get too dependent on Jolt being reliable, accessible or consistent. I copy and paste longer TGs into Wordpad.

No. It is a server space issue, and fixing it would require major modifications to the way things work. It will not happen for such a minor feature. Get a better memory or get more organized.

We might be persuaded to keep track of recent recipients. I think I'll have to defer to Salusa on that one. The same goes for keeping track of which ones are new.

There already is a way to see the TGs you sent: Save them on your computer before you send them.

It'd be slightly nice for recruiters and delegates if they could know just the names of the last few recipients. Especially when NS goes a bit weird and you're not sure if the last TG went through or was lost in the mysteries of space. :P

If it 'goes a bit weird', what's to say that the recipient's name was accurately recorded, or the telegram sent? From a programming perspective, either the <MyTelegramSentTo> field would be updated first, or the <TelegramAddedToRecipientsMailbox> field would be updated first. If the site timed out between those two operations, you'd still be in an unknown status. It wouldn't really help.

it seems to me that the server space issue could be solved by taking space that is now being used for saving recieved messages, I don't see why we need to have fifteen recieved messages available at once anyway.

However, I'm not much of a computer person so maybe i'm just talking crazy talk

Ah. I see what you mean. Yes, we could make space by reducing the size of your inbox, but I wouldn't count on it. The size of inboxes used to be 10. I presume it was increased for a reason.

The extra capacity is certainly useful when one has been telegramming around to raise support for a UN proposal and a lot of people have replied in between the times when one could get online to check recent messages...

In the mean time, copy and paste your telegrams into a text file before you send them. This allows you to keep a record of what you send.

You could always do it the lazy man's way and copy the TG and send it to one of your puppets. Or send it from your puppet to your main nation.

That's what I do sometimes.

Hmm...sometimes I can store up to 17. Strange.
