i'm having two nations at the moment (this and a puppet)

my problem is that when i log on this one the navigation bar believes that i'm on my puppet and therefore shows the puppets name and the region the puppet is based in ... is it solely a cookie problem or?

It's not cookies, it's cache. The nation page is made up of 3 frames, and your navigation frame isn't refreshing. Click your mouse into the frame and press <alt-F9> (on most Windows browsers), and you'll be good. Look for 'Refresh frame' on other browsers.
