U.N. Delegates

Could someone please tell me how U.N. delegates are elected? I created the regiont that I'm currently in about a month or two ago. Three or so days ago, I joined the U.N. Now it says that I've been elected as my region's U.N. delegate even though, as far as I know, there has been no voting or talking about even getting a delegate for my region. Myself and another nation are the only U.N. members in a region with 12 nations, but I don't know if this has something to do with it. Can someone tell me how U.N. delegates are chosen and elected?

As I understand it, the UN member with the most endorsements from other UN members in his or her region automatically is "elected" as the UN Delegate. So if the other UN member in your region endorsed you, and you did not endorse him (or maybe even if you did, if there are just the two of you) you get to be delegate. If someone else comes along and you both endorse him, then you are out of the job and he is in.

Additionally, some regions hold campaigns and elections within the region to decide who should be the delegate, then everyone endorses that person to give him or her the job.

I think that is all I know about it.

Now I understand how someone gets to be a U.N. delegate, but I still don't know why I am the delegate. I don't have any endorsements and neither does the other person with U.N. membership. He was a member before I was, he quit, then when I joined he joined the U.N. again. Maybe its because I've been in the U.N. about a day longer than he has. I also think that once a region has at least two people in the U.N. it gets a delegate, but these are all guesses.

Thanks for your help, Upper Botswavia.

You are no longer U.N Delegate. I would assume that someone endorsed you and made you Delegate but then either withdrew the endorsement or moved out the region. If this is the case then it would explain why you lost your Delegacy on the next update.

Alright, thanks for your help.

And I was getting used to the comfy delegate chair...
