Hey i was wondering if maybe someday NationStates could send email notifications of new issues and other things like if you get telegrams.

You get new issues every day at predictable times. Why would we need to send emails? And when you log in to check your issues, you can check your telegrams at the same time. Convenient, yes?
Seriously, that would add too much burden to the already-strained servers, not to mention getting us banned as spammers from lots more sites. No.

oops, I forgot about the server lagging that would do. But hey I just wanted to make a suggestion. What are the times when issues are given?

You get issues when your nation updates, and depending on your settings. Times are somewhat predictable for your nation, but it doesn't occur at 8:13 PM EST or anything like that. It'll be about 12 hours apart if you get 2 issues, 24 hours if you get one.

I believe that The Master o_f Puppets was wanting an e-mail when the nation recieves a new issue, not when a new issue is put into the game.
