Redesigning the Dossiers & Quick switch

I've asked a couple of friends who use Nation states as well and after a brief discussion about the new sidebar index format which now includes "dossier" the word dossier is used more or less to it's bare bone. The definition of Dossier is: A file on a person or event. Which brings me to my next point. The Dossier should be more of a self created "fact book" of the country the person has created to let people know a bit more about their country without having to use the forum and searching. What should be created in conjunction is a "directory" for favorites or countries you want to bother.

Another thing. When browsing the "world" page, at the bottom has two search querys. One for regions and another for countries. There should be an option to jump to a page instantly. I see a box where you type in the number, then hit enter to view the countries around you rather than having to use the numbers which take forever.

Changing the dossier to include a self-created factbook would involve massive recoding, lots of additional server space (yes, we have 1.5 million nations. Space for even a paragraph for each adds up to a LOT), and a significant increase in the workload of mods in keeping it under control. Not gonna happen. If you want a factbook, create one in NSwiki.

Your second request cannot be accomodated for technical reasons related to how our nations are stored. It's been asked and denied a couple of thousand times. Sorry.

So if not revision of the dossiers, what about the world page jump like on ebay?

I already answered that.
