Otters dont live in the forest.
My national animal is a Sea Otter, problem is the game says "Japuli's national animal is the sea otter, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests...", can this be changed to better suit the life style, and natural habitat of a creature that has the word "sea" in its name? i can understand why this happend, i would just like to know if someone can change it for me.

Everything is described as frolicking in the nation's forests reguardless of where the animal lives in RL. It's just one of the game's quirks.

I have the same problem with my nations national animal, the moon dolphin. I solved it by just imagining, and stating when asked (and I have been a few times), that the "lush forests" are forests of different seaweeds. I have a crappy imagination though, and you may be able to come up with a better explaination than that.
I doubt the powers that be will change anything, so making something up is the best option.

just pass a decision allowing for the eating of otters and all will be fine!;)
or change it to river otter, rivers can run through forests
luckily for me, asianelephants do live in forests

St Edmund's national animal is a dolphin, too... I decided that it must be a freshwater species, in some of the country's rivers & lakes, in the light of this reference to forests...
